What we publish
- Every height, trail length, difficulty rating, fee, rule and season comes from a cited source, usually the managing agency. If no source publishes it, we write "Not verified".
- We show a difficulty rating only when a source rates the trail. We don't make up our own.
- We say swimming is allowed only when the managing agency says so.
- Maps show the waterfall, parking and trailhead as separate points, and only where a source gives that location. A falls point is never a trailhead.
- Photos are licensed from Wikimedia Commons and credited on the page. Where no licensed photo exists, we show a placeholder rather than a photo of somewhere else.
- No ads, sponsors or paid placement.
Dates
Every guide shows the date its sources were last checked. Conditions, fees and closures change between checks, so always confirm with the managing agency before you go.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, send us a correction and include the page. We check the claim against the managing agency's current page and fix the guide, updating its last-verified date. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
